ABOUT US:

Christian Business Direct was initially launched as Christian Workers Direct in Wirral Merseyside in March 2008.  Following a number of confirmations that God wanted the directory to ‘go national’, it began to expand out across other regions, as many doors of opportunity opened!

Husband and wife team, John and Susan previously worked as Managers for Merseyside Victim Support until they were made redundant after many happy years of service.  From helping victims of all types of crime, they moved on to working with the homeless, poor and needy in their community. 

John and Susan are at their best when they are helping people and have now found new ways of helping Christian businesses, churches, and ministries.   There is one African ministry that they have particularly taken to heart called Hope School Uganda.  John and Sue are supporting this ministry both personally and corporately as much as possible.

THE VISION OF CHRISTIAN BUSINESS DIRECT

The vision of Christian Business Direct is to see businesses, churches, and ministries connecting together nationally, to mutually support one another’s aims.  If businesses support the churches and the churches support the businesses then together they can impact their communities in a positive and lasting way.

Today people are looking for businesses they can trust and all members of CBD seek to shine a light in the local community through their witness and testimonies.

• CBD provides easy access to trades and professionals that everyone can trust and rely on.
• CBD supports Christian businesses in the churches, enabling them to grow their business, and contribute more to the work of the Kingdom.
• CBD shares interesting information between all the churches, businesses, and ministries.
• CBD offers FREE listings, with reciprocal web links, to churches, Christian businesses and ministries.
  

MISSION STATEMENT

Christian Business Direct believes that the wide variety of business activities available, in the directory, can address people’s spiritual, physical or social needs – making the business a ‘ministry’ itself.  Furthermore, if we work to glorify God and serve others in the process, then that is also what makes it a ministry.

The businesses listed in this directory are expected to operate with biblical values and in doing so, will bring back trust, peace of mind, and integrity into the world.

The mission of Christian Business Direct and its members includes:

• Conducting themselves with Kingdom of God values.
• Bringing a Godly influence and being a witness for Jesus to people who don’t yet know Him.
• Generating finances to support the Church and Kingdom work (see below)
  
• Providing jobs, training, and dignity to people in the community.
• Encouraging Christian people who want to start a business, providing them with access to trainers, business coaching, resources, prayer support, and help with promoting their new business.

However, for this to succeed, it requires the churches and businesses working in partnership together.
